AFRO-NEO PLASTICISM: DNA BY ICONIC INVANITY SS 2018

DNA by Iconic Invanity has released its Campaign for Spring/Summer 2018 and it is vibrant and youthful. The brand, headed by 19-year old Destiny Ada Nwadire separate from its parent brand Iconic Invanity caters to fashion-conscious women, offering more affordable, youthful, colourful designs.

Inspired by Neo-Plasticism – the style of Geometric art founded by Dutch artist, Piet Mondrian, DNA infuses embroidery, the use of horizontal and vertical lines and primary colours to create Afro-Neo Placticism.

This collection comprises of day to night looks featuring jackets, skirts, tops and dresses, which can be interpreted in various ways, depending on the wearer and the occasion.

The outfits are structured and sophisticated. The detailing is exquisite and the attention to detail is remarkable. The geometric prints and the embroidery make this collection stand out.
