Taking inspiration from their Spring/Summer 2018 ‘Sparkle’ lookbook, fast-rising high fashion make-up brand DHM By Isang are excited to debut their very first cosmetics collection, featuring six new lipsticks, which will be available for sale from Monday, March 11, 2019, via their website.

Defined by the slogan ‘Makeup That Sings’ coined by DHM By Isang CEO and founder Isang Obot, the first ever DHM By Isang lipstick collection features six distinct and stunning colours and swatches, from the Ibom Girl, a deep pink matte lipstick and a girly girl’s lipstick that can be worn for all occasions, named after Isang’s native Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria, to Midnight, which was inspired by Isang’s first Winter lookbook and is one of the darkest shades in the collection, and the signature Divine, which is a subtle maroon shade for everyday wear.

The exclusive lipstick collection is continued by the Bare lipstick, with its nude swatch, which was inspired by DHM By Isang’s 2017 Spring/Summer lookbook, and also perfect for everyday wear, as well as the brightest shade in the collection, A Chanter, which means ‘to sing’ in French, and takes its name from the collection slogan ‘Makeup That Sings’, with HOT, a bright hot red look perfect for a daring evening or the summertime, completing the exciting new collection.

As part of celebrating and launching this new cosmetic collection, DHM By Isang have collaborated with acclaimed photographer Belange Okandju of MCM London, who has previously worked with the likes of Cosmpolitan, Blanck Magazine, and Black Hair & Beauty Magazine, to create the exclusive ‘Makeup That Sings’ lookbook to highlight the six lipsticks – Ibom Girl, Midnight, Divine, Bare, A Chanter, and HOT – that make up the cosmetics collection, starring fashion designer and model Msedivine, and upcoming artist Jessica Mulholland.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the cosmetic collection, DHM By Isang CEO and founder Isang Obot says, “The initial vision for Divine House of Makeup by Isang was that of a cosmetics line. Dreams don’t always start out how you want them to, but with time and hard work, they eventually materialise. I’m so grateful to see the cosmetics line and vision come to fruition. This exclusive limited collection and lookbook is simply the start of our makeup line and I’m excited for all to see our launch! I hope when people wear it, their makeup sings!”
