The ‘Queen of Rap’ as she and her Barbz proclaim most recently strutted out of the 2018 VMAs with a moon man awarded to her ‘Chun Li’ video. Nicki Minaj being a renowned rap artist is known to be chameleonic in terms of her verses and style.

Nicki, as of late, has being involved in several controversial issues, one of which is the fight between her and ex-boyfriend Safaree (see more on our Instagram)

Plus, there is a current clash between Nicki and Travis Scott over his ‘Astroworld’ album unseating Minaj’s ‘Queen’ from the number one spot on Spotify… however, this piece isn’t about spelling out Nicki’s internet uproar and jumble. We are all about her wings.

Apart from the sassy and fierce disposition Nicki exudes when spitting out bars, her poly-chromatic costume and hairdo is one thing most of her Barbs and onlookers watch out for in her music videos and on the red carpet.  More so, Nicki’s glam miscellany has constantly evolved; conversely, the makeup deed she has stuck to – in which her makeup artist at every ensuing event keeps enhancing, is her signature ‘wing liner’.

In suffixing her bold wing, she secures a pair of full mink lashes – totally, underlining her whole eye look. Nicki’s glam squad has on no account tailed off her ‘cat eye’ prominence- making sure her liner serves drama to complement the lyrical prowess and gangsterism she puts on display when performing.

One attribute of a ‘Queen’ (the name of her latest album) is solidity, and we have seen Nicki own the wing liner game without a fissure since her debut, hence we crown her the ‘Queen of wing liner’.

Here’s to Nicki’s ‘wingdom’ as we take you through some of her dolled up looks…we might as well caption this, ‘Barbie tingz’.

Nicki Minaj’s makeup is minimal in this issue, emanating innocence and simplicity. This look isn’t understated as the wing liner and lashes amplifies the sheer luminous glow and peachy     toned lip. I love a less dramatic Nicki and this look makes the cut.

This face beat was certainly gasping for air…I guess the hair volume was causing perspiration -eluding her facial features. A’ half up’ style would give her control.

The wing liner is definitely precise but her artist failed to come through with a perfect pout, lining is a vital technique for smaller lips.

Too subtle a look for someone playing a ‘bad guy’ role at the 2018 ‘Heavenly Bodies’ themed Met Gala.

In her words: ”I’m the bad guy and I wanted to make sure the bad guy was here.” referencing  her latest song “Chun Li”

In this fiery outfit, a more dramatic wing and dare-devil eye art would have depicted her ‘supposed’ character since “the devil you know is better than a disguised angel”. I mean this literally *winks
