Last weekend, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards was held in Lagos. It is one of the biggest nights in the African movie industry and this year was no different.
#AMVCA2018 had celebrities dressed to the nines to celebrate the best in television, and with good reason.
From Mesh outfits and thigh slits to Floral blazers, take a look at our 5 favourite looks from this year’s AMVCA.
Ex Big Brother House mate, Cee-C was serving red hot sauce in an embellished red dress designed by Lanre Da Silva. The figure hugging dress had a train and a sheer neckline, which came together perfectly. She kept her accessories to a minimum with chandelier earrings, silver bracelets and a silver clutch. He makeup, done by Bibyonce was classy with dramatic lashes and a matte red lip.

We know that we can rely on Ini to slay every time. She is elegant and beautiful and she has not disappointed us before. She dazzled in a metallic plaid dress with a structured neck line and a thigh slit. Designed by Fablane by Derin, this dress was definitely a favourite. She finished off the look with statement earrings, 4 cocktail rings, a black clutch and simple sandals. She opted for a nude lip and dramatic lashes for makeup.

AMVCA award winner Lilian made our jaws drop with a Custom made dress by Nonnistic Fashion. The black mesh dress was adorned with black flowers with gold trimmings. For that extra oomph, she gave us a train and crisscross detailing. This dress is daring and she pulled it off excellently.

Now, here is a man that is fashion forward. Award shows are the perfect occasion to push beyond the limits and Leo did exactly that. He wore a purple velvet blazer designed by Kimono Kollection and shoes from Leo by Yikodeen, a collaboration between Da Silva and Nigerian shoe brand, Yikodeen. A man of style indeed.
