18 Jun PHARRELL WILLIAMS IN MONOCHROME MAGIC FOR L’UOMO VOGUE’S RETURN
L’Uomo Vogue is back and Pharrell is on the cover of the relaunch. L’Uomo Vogue, a magazine focused on promoting men’s wear and style surprised millions of fans when it folded up in 2017. According to The New York Times, Stefano Tonchi, the editor of W magazine said “Italian Designers invented men’s pret-a-porter and L’Uomo Vogue was its voice and image”
The magazine is now being relaunched as a Quarterly magazine, starting this month. The new magazine is larger than the initial magazine and is printed in English as opposed to Italian because as Emanuele Farneti said, English is an international language and it is an international magazine.
As the cover story for the relaunch of L’Uomo Vogue, Pharrell Williams is super stylish in monochrome shots. In his interview, Pharrell discusses working with Adidas, Fatherhood, the creative process and using his platform to discuss political issues.
The shoot is photographed by Brigitte Lacombe and al the photos are black and white. Styled by Michael Philouze, Pharrell wears pieces from Chanel, Gucci, Giorgio Armani and more.
On what he is up to at the moment, Pharrell says “Work, work, work. I’m at a point now where I want to focus on just a few things and give them my devoted and undivided attention. For me, my three priorities are: God-slash-others, my family, and then work.”
Pharrell is one of the Producers credited for the newly released joint album by Beyonce and Jay-Z – Everything is love. He rounds off his interview by saying he would like to be remembered as a public servant.
