RACHEL BROSNAHAN IS MARVELOUS INDEED FOR FRANCES VALENTINE’S SPRING 2019 LOOKBOOK

Frances Valentine New York, the second accessories line of the late fashion icon,  Kate Spade has launched their Summer Spring 2019 campaign, and it’s everything we imagined it would be. The campaign features Rachel Brosnahan, star of the TV series Marvelous Midge Maisel and Kate Spade’s niece as the face of the campaign. The collection is a tribute to Kate Spade’s life, legacy and love for fashion.

Expressing her most appreciated element of Kate Spade’s style, Brosnahan mentioned she has always loved and appreciated Kate’s love for colour, accessories and how she mixed shapes, and  paired with accessories in a funky way that made Kate’s personality shine through. Drawing inspiration from vintage pieces, she had the ability to brighten up a room with her style and colour.

Explaining what style means to her, the American actor says, “Style is an opportunity to express yourself. It’s something that is uniquely yours and can act as both a glimpse into the soul or an armor, depending on your mood.” Narrating the style influence between her personal style and that of the character Midge Maisel, Brosnahan says that she appreciates her character’s  style and their mutual love for vintage fashion, however she (Rachel) loves comfort more. “We both love bold colors but that’s where the parallels end. I’ll leave the corsets and petticoats to Midge!”

 

The collection comprises of 21 additions that are warm and vibrant. Accessories include loafers, heels, bags, bracelets and earrings. The multi-award winning 28 year old revealed her favourite pieces from the spring 19 collection, which include the classic shaped Elysce loafers, her everyday go-to Small Chloe bag, and her absolute favourite the Honey Pots with its whimsical capabilities that can help up-style any summer outfit.
