Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid unveiled his Capsule collection this past weekend at Reign in New York.

The collection was created based on the need to create something for his fans.

Wizkid worked with his creative team which included Fashion consultant, Irene Agbontaen who curated the pop up, to create something simple and fresh. He wanted something people would be proud to wear, not just as Starboy fans or as Nigerians, but as Africans as well.

Referred to by Vogue as Africa’s hottest pop star by almost any measure, Wizkid’s new album, Made in Lagos is scheduled for release on 1st October, this year.

The collection, includes a Starboy- Bomber jacket and varied statement t-shirts with words like “Made in Lagos” and “Ojuelegba”, a place in Lagos State, Nigeria which has long been associated with Wizkid.

We are impressed with this capsule collection and can not wait to see what else Wizkid has in store. In fashion, in music and otherwise.

A Starboy for real!
