REMEMBERING KYRZAYDA RODRIGUEZ

Dominican Style Blogger, Kyrzayda Rodriguez has passed on. She battled with Stage 4 Gastric cancer after being diagnosed in 2017.

Kyrzayda did not let her diagnosis keep her down for long. She continued to work passionately, to share her story and inspire millions of people all over the world with her positive outlook. In August, she announced that she would be stopping chemotherapy and radiation to spend time with her loved ones in as little pain as possible.

She remained optimistic and passionate throughout her journey. She will be remembered as a huge beam of light. A remarkable woman who lived a full, blessed life filled with love. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.

On turning 40 in August, she said: “Turning 40 is not what I celebrate today but still being alive after I was told  I only had 6 months to live. Celebrating my 40th birthday with a big bang surrounded by the people I love and thanking GOD for being my foundation in everything. We are still fighting and Cancer is not taking away the joy my 30’s gave me. I celebrate life more than ever now. It’s important to be thankful, always.”

In celebrating the super stylish Kyrzayda, we share some of our favorite images of her.

I followed this woman and I loved her so much. She inspired me so much since the day I laid eyes on her! Such a powerful woman I am crying as I type this.
My sister and I love LOVE fashion and I was told the other day she was dying but didn’t want to believe it. I swear this is still such a shock to me. My condolences to you all and her loved ones. I Followed her for about a year and I am just deeply saddened by this . I will pray for everyone and her entire family. God bless.
