Rihanna Channels Amelia EarHart As She Covers The Latest Issue Of Bazaar.

The Fiercely gorgeous Rihanna kicks off her 2017 editorial features with a cover feature for Bazaar magazine. In this issue she channels Amelia EarHart, an American aviation pioneer and author. She was the first female aviator  to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and  received the U.S. Distinguished fling cross for this achievement. She was also a published  author who in an essay title ‘Plane Clothes’ published in Bazaar in 1929 explains how one can fly fashionably. The excerpt of the piece can be read on Bazaar.com.

Rihanna sees this feature as a powerful show of the feminine strength. Photographed by  Mariano Vivanco, she was styled is high end pieces by the editor “There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time. So it was a no-brainier for me to team up with Harper’s Bazaar in honor of a woman who held her own with the big boys.”  See pictures from the editorial feature and visit harpersbazaar.com for more.
