With the social media revolution, runway shows have become less and less traditional- the one time private affair for industry players thanks to the advent of new media has become a much more globalized gathering with designers working the limits to push the envelops as they convey their messages and brand philosophies  to the world. In a saturated market like the fashion industry, there’s no doubt a mounting pressure to create a runway shows that are entertaining, engaging and memorable, collections that are solid, relatable and can easily translate into sales.

With this in mind, we speak with the head stylist for the ARISE Fashion Week 2018 show Veronica Odeka and she gives us her top three tips for the designer looking to make the most impact in their runway outing.

  • Great accessories  like white shoes or a handbag made of newspapers creates great imagery to pull the collection together.
